Ozone - no longer a mystery
I have purchased the online tutorial "Ozone - Start to Finish". The tutorial basically comprises of two modules: a. An in-depth explanation of the various modules of Ozone 12, and b. two mastering sessions, first, using the custom work flow and, secondly, the automatic modus. For me, the first module was very valuable, because I was more or less, a novice to Ozone. Every module of Ozone was explained in detail. Hence, I gained a very good understanding what the various modules are doing to your track and how they should be used. If there is anything worth criticiscing, then it is the following: There is a certain overlap between the core modules of Ozone and the modern modules of Ozone, which are not immediately apparent, i.e. some core modules are doing similar things as the modern modules. There could have been some more guidance whether and when it makes sense to use the core modules and the modern modules. The second module is not as easy to digest as the first module, given that this is a "live" mastering session, where your are learning by "loooking over the shoulder". The way it works is that Streaky is doing certain things to a track and then explains what he did and why he did it. I had to watch this part several times to understand what was going on. Maybe there could have been a little more explanation, in particular when he started to move the modules around in the workflow chain. All in all, I think the tutorial is worth a buy, in particular for those who want to use the Ozone custom workflow rather than the automatic modus, and for those who are new to Ozone.

The best course on Ozone I can imagine
This is streaky in his ace. I really liked it. Time was prioritized; what was simple took only a few minutes and the complex stuff took more. I really recommend this both to trained and newly upgraded.

I’ve used Ozone 10, 11, and now 12 with the assistant and minor tweaks. Streaky explains Ozone 12 modules and how to best use them for mastering. Better results than the assistant. Thanks Streaky.
Great Ozone 12 Tutorial
It was very helpful for me that Streaky's Ozone 12 tutorial was available right after the release—and at an unbeatable price and with two add-on packs (presets, additional tutorials). Seeing how an experienced mastering engineer achieves his goals with Ozone is exactly what I always wanted to see. (not a paid review)

The class was well-explained, but I am a little disappointed. I just finished the Ozone 11 class, and the new version, Ozone 12, has just been released. Now I have to pay for it again? I don't think that's fair. Let me know if you offer any kind of discount for the Ozone 12 class. Thank you.
My biggest struggle was lack of knowledge of the basics. This course filled in the missing information. Ozone has made mastering easy and quick. I’m no longer afraid of this supposedly dark secret. I would recommend this course to any music producer who makes their own music. This is the last 25% that is needed to have professional sounding mixes.

Really enjoyed this course, so much to revisit. I feel confident now about each module and will not just default to the AI option as now i understand how to use each element. Great to watch Streaky mix in real time. Very clear instruction and why changes are being made on the tracks discussed.

This course is excellent, I have had ozone for a few years now but could only use the ai assistant and not much more, now I can manipulate that to sounding much better or even master a track on my own using the individual modules, mastering was my weakest element to master but now I feel I am getting somewhere with it

After trying mastering in different ways with different tools, it's very nice and a relief to see a pro going through his process to have an idea how far you are yourself compared to the guy you are being inspired by. Streaky get all around and explain things clearly, where the only task for you is to do it multiple times to get it going in your flow. I also appriciate the fact streaky got ozone courses becuase you often notice people and himself have a lot of other plugins too to do different things besides hardware. Its great for us who just want to stick with few brands and get the most of out it. If you are new, getting started or just a hobbyist, i really think you are in safe hands. Be aware, that you also can get a free master based on the course and use that as reference in your production. it is your own track and since you know every detail, it opens your eyes up for what you have missed if you had bad references already.

Hey, what's happening everyone? My name is Travis and I'm here to review the Ozone course by Streaky. I just finished this course a couple days ago and I got to say it's a really great value for its money. Um, if you've already invested in Ozone, uh, this really opens it up for you.
For myself, um, this made Ozone my go-to plugin for all mastering. and I just plug it in um and I can use the AI features or I can use it um standalone and pick uh the individual effects and the different pieces of ozone I want to apply to my mix. Um the Streaky course breaks it down um frame by frame, module by module, and makes it all simple. So you get a little bit of mastering theory, a little bit of mixing theory.
Um, he goes over the different types of EQs, compressions, and effects that are available in Ozone. And you get to see uh, plus step-by-step tutorials. So, if you, uh, want to make your Ozone really shine and, uh, let it help your mixes and make your your mixing and mastering process way more efficient, I would recommend buying this Streaky course for ozone today. Um, and you can uh let people know I told you so.

So, I bought Ozone thinking that I would use it for mastering and then I realized I didn't know anything about the modules or how they worked. So, I spent a ton of time, hours and hours and hours on YouTube trying to look at tutorials to understand this. And some of them got too deep in the woods, some of them weren't that good. And then I found Streaky's course that changed the game completely.
He was concise, clear, right to the point. All I had to do was make a couple notes as I went through the course. And then when I did my next master, night and day difference, complete turnaround. I can't tell you how happy I was to spend that time to take that course.
Would I recommend it for anyone else? I recommend it for beginners, for people of intermediate level, anyone that wants to understand ozone, how it works, and get value out of it without getting into the weeds, this is the course for you. Trust me.

Hello, my name is Jurgen Landhog. I write, record and release music as Monomachin. Um, Streaky has actually mastered quite a few of my releases and I love his work. Um, through that I um got to know about his courses and I picked up quite a few.
One of them being um the O ozone from isotope course. Um, Streaky uh really goes thoroughly through all the modules within Ozone, which is super helpful. You get to know how all of them work. He also masters um two songs by the end of it.
Um so you can see his process with the software, which I think is super helpful. Um it's a no-brainer. It's a course to get really. Um, saying this, I don't I don't use uh I don't master my own music because I use Mastering Engineers.
That's because I need some distance um because I've been writing and recording and mixing my music. So, I still use Mastering Engineers, but for me, the software really uh the course really helps me understand the software and it also gives you a proper insight to how Strick works. So, um, yeah, no-brainer. Uh, thumbs up.
Go get it. It's well worth the money. Cheers.
