7-Day Mastering Accelerator

I have finished Streaky's mastering course and I have to say that a good teacher is worth any price. It is extremely enriching for me to see Streaky work and how he does EQ tweaks to get the vocals sit perfectly in the mix, for example, or he uses multiband compression to get a tighter low end. and and the way he uses clipping and limiting to get that polished and finished sound ready for streaming services. It is and has been extremely beneficial for me and I'm sure it will be for you as well.

So, I took Streaky's class, just the quick and dirty uh I don't know, two-hour class or whatever, and uh I you know, I already had Fab Filter and now, you know, I downloaded the other plugins he recommended and basically now I feel competent, fully competent to master songs. I'm not saying I would master an album that I made. I would still probably pay to have that done. But in terms of putting stuff up on Spotify, I feel like with a couple of hours of Streaky's expertise and perspective, I'm able to get things 90 95% as close as a mastering engineer would do, which is absolutely amazing.

Uh, probably the some of the best money I've ever spent on online education. So, thanks Freaky. You're the man.

I think the biggest takeaway that I had was getting your level first with the limiter and then using your compressor and EQ from there.

I was kind of doing it backwards. Uh, and that's just what you what you taught right off the hop just kind of changed it for me. So, I mean, I'm I'm new to new to this mastering. I've been doing live sound for a long time and I've just started working on my own material in the in my makeshift studio here at home.

And uh, yeah, I just wanted to say thanks. It was a huge eye opener and just the workflow that you uh, provided was really helpful. So, thanks. keep keep doing what you do.

I wanted to start by saying that I'm happy that is actually you asking me or ask uh to send you the master so you can give us some comment about it because initially I wanted to do it myself. I wanted to to reach out to you and ask if you were happy to listen to my masters.

So that's one problem solved already. And um I've also purchased your mixing uh mixing course. And uh although I came from a background in mixing mastering, I never I never really had a studio to work on. And uh I'm happy cuz this these courses I actually feel some gap gave me a new type of workflow.

So yeah, I'm I'm quite happy and uh the reason why I'm passionate about mixing master is because I'm mainly a a music producer myself and uh I want to be fully independent like no music label. I don't want to need them and I don't want to need even mastering engineer you can get quite expensive and even length in time. So if you see what I mean. So what I would really would like to know if if now I my mixer master reach the industry standard.

I'm not saying that I have to be I have to sound as good as people like you obviously but at least to be considered professional. It would be really really nice to know that.

I uh finished your mastering course. I attended it and I really wanted to give you um a feedback. I know it's important. Uh I'll try to be on point.

Uh the most important thing and that I like the most and I think that it very it's very helpful is actually seeing someone working. You know, you have thousands of tutorials on YouTube explaining theoretical concept like what all the parameters do on a compressor or you know these kind of uh things. But very few people actually work on a mix or on a master and um so they show how they think and when they actually tweak the knobs. I think this is this practical part is actually very important to really understand what's happening and this is what I saw in your uh course and it was very helpful also uh everything was very well explained and I think that I got the concepts a bit better.

Yeah, overall it was a great experience. Um it was totally worth it. Thank you for the effort. Thank you for the work you do for us and uh yeah, thank you so much.

Um, and yeah, sounds so much better. Um, you know, working from the level first and then going to the EQ and, you know, EQing the low end and then moving up to the high end, um, works really, really well. um compared to the tracks that I was mastering before where I was just using a lot of plugins just throwing stuff at. Um yeah, it's so much so much cleaner.

Um I'm able to get the levels I was getting before, but without even pushing the limiter um and the I'm getting the dynamics of the track still there. Uh so I'm not really pushing it too hard. Um and it just sounds a lot better, a lot cleaner. The low end sounds nice and tight.

Hi, I just finished the uh mastering accelerator course by Streaky and I'm very happy with what I've learned and I've applied all the techniques and use the plugins and practiced and that sort of thing. So um now I'm more confident like with my mastering skills. Before I wouldn't even touch mastering. I would just mix and then leave it alone.

But now I have a solid workflow. Got to have a good template. So I just want to say thanks to Streaky for the instructional course. It's worth every penny and uh I look forward to taking more courses.

Just a quick video for the uh the miniourse for the mastering. Uh had a little go cuz uh normally I've been using like ozone and things uh just to try and get a bit better. Obviously the room's not very good for like acoustics. Um yeah, but I good training.

Um so I can like train me ears a bit. Uh you know like work backwards to help with you know like getting the levels right without it crushing too much. Yeah. But uh yeah, it's good training.
