Good Course, well explained and clear
Streaky's course is great for learning Logic; but was focused on Electronic music, and I wanted to learn more about using Logic to record and mix actual acoustic music (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, live drums, vocals, BV's, horns). His delivery is clear and very experienced, but more Loops & Electronica focused than I had hoped.

I’ve only recently started the mixing course, and I must say, I’m truly impressed with Streaky’s tutorials. He goes in-depth, clearly explaining the ins and outs of mixing in a way that’s easy to follow. I’ve always wanted to master the art of mixing, and when I came across Streaky’s course online, I decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did it’s been a great experience so far, and I’m looking forward to completing the course.

Free yourself from spending an Infinite amount of time searching and watching tutorials. The web is full of smarty pants that will tell you something, they might have just found out or worse they copied from somebody, who copied from somebody. Just get this. It's Not cheap but worth every penny. Whatch the full and than watch the chapter for the tasks you have to do. And pretty soon you're sort of professional yourself! Thanks Streaky and Gang
Deep Dive Mixing Course
The Deep Dive Mixing Course by Streaky has helped me quite a bit in understanding and organizing the mixing process, which is actually about half the battle I was fighting. Being able to see the big picture and maintain control over the many elements of a mix has helped me feel like I finally have a clue about what I'm trying to do, instead of just running on trial and error so much. This has made a huge difference in my confidence to tackle a complex mixing project. The course contains very professional and concise training. Thanks, Streaky. I also plan to purchase the course on Mastering, as soon as I get to that point.

GOOD COURSE
I just finished Logic Pro Bootcamp course. It was awesome because I was a self taught Logic user for last 2 years and the course brought me a lot more knowledge about it.A very well spent money.

great course have learnt alot and great that access to the videos is always there so you can keep going over techniques until they have really sunk in .
So now that I have spent the money gone through some training its time for a real review. For 3 years I used Acoustica Mixcraft along with Izotope essentials. So basically I added some vocal plug ins chorus then picked a preset Master like "Country" "Rock" "50's" etc etc. I got complaints from people it was muffled or too quiet for computer speakers. This year I decided I really want to learn this thing better. I invested in a new Audio interface (Presonus) and since it came with the "Light" Software I utilized the upgrade option to get Presonus Studio one 6 advanced. I then used Izotopes upgrade options for a discount and got Nectar 3 Nuetron 4 and Ozone 10 (I already had Melodyne Assistant which I used the cheaper upgrade option from Melodyne Essentials cheaper) I was taking the Studioe one courses they offered to learn that first and came across Streaky Ozone 10 course. $49 ($65 American) and thought why not it's a cheap investment in myself and the purchases I already made. I learned a lot. Even though it was one system based I realized how much I truly did not understand on the basics of signal chains compressors EQ. I also realized no matter how good the "Mastering" or "Mastering Technician " is if I send a garbage mix there is nothing they can do. This led me to take the Streaky Mixing Course. I have gone through it twice now. I felt the EQ deserved a little more attention but the other systems I really garnered a much better understanding and it was worth the $49 plus. Some of the biggest take aways included how to listen what I am listening for. Utilizing the buss channels and not as much processing ( saving me tons of computer headaches with that alone that I never thought of) and of course levels. One of the biggest takeaways.............quit using so many plug ins that I am crating other issues to fix one and then adding more processing. I actually went into my commputer and deleted a ton of plug in's and now have the basics listed above plus a VU meter. As Streaky says learn one system well then branch out so you truly know what you are hearing in the differences. So great now I am mixing a little better actually a lot better. Still never going to be confused with a pro but many times small changes in understanding lead to bigger changes in learning. So what do I do now let the AI in Ozone 10 do all my Mastering ? No while Ozone does a decent job I want some control and the sound I want. So naturally I signed up for the Streaky Mastering course another $49 well spent. Much of this seems to build on the ideas from the Mixing course and actually tie into the Ozone course. Huge takeaways already started from the beginning on how to set up properly before you even begin to think about Mastering. Working with the pre master a plug in channel and a final channel........should be obvious I never figured it out. Getting the level set before dealing with EQ and everything else really changed the way I listen to it. Will these courses make you an awesome Production Mixer Mastering Engineer...................absolutely not. Will they help develop a road map for sure yes. For people like me that play in bands want to get some decent sounding CD's out to family and friends something that sounds good online these courses will 100% get you there. The rest is up to me as Streaky basically says you have to listen to tons of music see how your headphones sound speakers sound room sounds. Listen to good productions to hear what the goal is then practice and then practice some more you have to own your own path to getting better. Would I recommend these courses ? For the beginner - yes For the person who just wants a little better sound - yes for the curious- yes For the intermediate that might be missing those few small things - yes If you want to start the journey -yes Do I intend to take the next level of courses for sure. First I need to go through what I have 4 or 5 more times and practice on 20 songs at least. Then ask the wife if I can have the budget for the next courses. Thank you Streaky the way you present and the information you give are just fantastic I can see me coming back and reviewing just these three courses alone many times. Thanks Mark'
